Staffing We aim to employ qualified staff and those whose experience is relevant. We also employ a wide age range of staff. Finding the right staff, as in many areas of work, is difficult, but we do not employ anyone just to fill a position. Many staff stay with us for years and of course we want to keep them. We aim to keep ahead of local salaries and we value both the experience and maturity of our staff. |

NNEB Students and NVQ trainees They are in the nursery to learn more about the practical side of the work we do. They are supervised and help our staff but DO NOT take responsibility for any child/children. NVQ II is a basic foundation qualification equivalent to GCSE's and should not be confused with the more detailed courses of NNEB standard. We have a member of staff responsible for overseeing students ensuring we are appropriate as a setting and to ensure their development and course needs are met. |
| Training
Our staff are constantly updating themselves with courses in child care, health, hygiene, first aid and many areas of the learning programme. Most of the courses take place in the evenings and at the weekends which is a mark of their commitment and enthusiasm. |
